Author Guidelines

Before submitting a work for publication in the Journal of Criminal Law and Penal Studies, please read the following information:

The text should make a creative contribution to the science of criminal law or other penal sciences.
The volume of the work must not exceed a total of 60,000 characters, including all elements of the work included in the file, including the abstract, bibliography, footnotes and spaces.
The text must be prepared in a manner consistent with the publication template used by the Journal.
The piece should be submitted after logging in to this website. We do not accept submissions by email.

Please verify that the work meets the basic conditions for publication:

The subject matter is consistent with the profile of the Journal.
The work has been prepared in accordance with the publication template used by the Journal.
The work file contains all required elements, including the affiliation of the author(s), title, abstract and keywords, complete bibliography, correctly formatted footnotes.
The work has not been previously published and is not currently submitted for publication with another publisher.

By submitting a submission, the author confirms that he or she owns the copyright to the work.
In the case of co-authorship, the author confirms that he/she has obtained the consent of all co-authors to submit the work.
The author consents to the publication of the text in all fields of exploitation in the Journal of Criminal Law and Penal Studies.
After accepting the work for publication, and before submitting it for further publishing work, the author signs an agreement with the publisher of the Journal regarding the license.
